Welcome to Sama Contact Lenses in Dubai, where passion for eye care meets innovation in lens design. Our story is one of commitment, creativity, and precision—all focused on giving you the best possible vision experience. 

Our journey started in 1999 with a growing interest in optometry. By 2009, we traveled to Daejeon, South Korea, to bring back high-quality contact lenses—introducing them to the Middle East for the first time.

From 2009 to 2018, we worked on lens development. With help from a skilled South Korean optician, we fine-tuned our designs and quality standards. In 2018, we returned to finalize the design of Sama Contact Lenses. The following year, we went back once more to carry out a detailed quality control visit.

As an optician and optometrist, we understood how to both design and improve eyewear. We saw an opportunity to bring better comfort, clarity, and durability to lens users—especially in harsh Gulf climates.

We wanted to create lenses that were:

Flexible
Breathable
Comfortable for daily wear
Resistant to heat, humidity, and air conditioning
The idea was simple: make lenses that feel like the sky—clear, beautiful, and barely noticeable. In Arabic, “Sama” means sky, which became the perfect name for our brand.
