How soon can I expect delivery?

Within the UAE: from 24 to 48 hours (official working days) depending on the delivery location.

Within the Sultanate of Oman: from 24 hours to 72 hours (official working days) depending on the delivery location.

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: from 24 hours to 72 hours (official working days) depending on the delivery location 

State of Kuwait: From 24 hours to 72 hours (official working days) depending on the delivery location

How do I know the specific time of delivery?

The delivery company will call you to confirm the delivery time that best suits you.

For how long can I use my lenses?

SAMA Lenses’ products have a sealed, 5 year shelf life, from the date of production. The expiration date is indicated clearly on all our products.

 

Once opened our daily lens can be used for up to 24 hours. 

CAUTION: Re-use is not recommended.

Once opened our monthly lens can used for 720 hours inside the eye, an average of 8 hours per day over a period of 3 months

CAUTION: Using the lenses for a period longer than 3 months is not recommended.

Can I leave my lenses in when I go to sleep

We recommend that you remove your contact lenses and safely store them in the lense case before going to sleep. Sleeping with your contact lenses (by any brand in the world) in can cause health issues.

What colour lens will suit me?

  • The answer to this question is slightly more technical, The lens colour that would suit you best depends on the colour of your actual eye and the colour of your hair. For a bigger eye look, (bigger iris) we recommend you choose from the range of Ring collection.

    For a natural eye look, we recommend you choose from the collection of Natural colours

    The Twilight colour collection gives your eyes a luminous glow.

What are the lense use cautions?

  • We do not recommend that you expose your lenses to hot air from either cooking, your hair dryer or the sauna. 
  • We also do not recommend you swim or bath while wearing your lenses.

Do you have special lenses to treat astigmatism?

Unfortunately at this stage we do not have specialised astigmatism lenses.

What different lense powers are available?

Do you have special lenses to treat hyperopia (Far-sightedness)?

Unfortunately at this stage we do not have specialised hyperopia lenses.

Is SAMA lenses quality approved?

  • Yes, SAMA Lenses has passed all the quality tests used internationally
    • SAMA Lenses are CE approved
    • In the United Arab Emirates: SAMA Lenses are registered with the UAE Ministry of Health, and our products have passed all the relevant tests. You are able to view our certificate on the  Ministry of Health website using the link: https://www.mohap.gov.ae/ar/services/Pages/drug-directory.aspx

How comfortable are SAMA Lenses?

A SAMA lens is designed for the climate in the Gulf region, high temperature, high humidity and air conditioning systems. We also have customer testimonials on our website and social media, where you can read our customers reviews about the comfort of our lenses.

What is the difference between the monthly and the daily lenses?

  • These are scientific classifications based on the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
    • Monthly lenses can be used for 720 hours inside the eye, i.e. an average of 8 hours over the course of 3 months.
      CAUTION: Using the lenses for a period longer than 3 months is not recommended.
    • The daily lens is used for 8 to 24 hours,
      CAUTION: Re-use is not recommended
    • Annual lenses: Also known as Yearly Lenses, Production on these lenses has ceased as the monthly and daily lenses are healthier for your eye.

Can I try the product before I purchase it?

  • For your own health and safety we do not provide test samples. Providing samples of lenses that have been tested by other people, even though they have been sterilized, is against public health regulations, as this can cause the transmission of diseases.

When the order payment is taken of my bank account?

If you choose to complete your online payment using a credit card, the payment will be made through one of our approved payment outlet providers. The process will be encrypted via Push Metrics (PCI-DSS).

We will initially book the purchase amount from your credit card so that we can confirm that you have successfully received your order, and then withdraw the amount. Your bank may send you a notification of the collection of funds from your credit card when making the order, but be confident that the amount will not be deducted until after the completion of the purchase and your receipt of your order

do you have cash on delivery services ?

This service is available to all our customers in the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman

You can choose the cash on delivery  option when you make order

as the delivery company representative will deliver the request to your door, requesting the cash amount from you after giving you the bill, and then asking you to pay until he receives your order. Upon delivery, the representative will provide you with an invoice stating the required amount.

Soon, this service will be available in the rest of the Gulf countries
